Designed by Los Angeles street artist Shepard Fairey. His artwork was everywhere during last year’s presidential campaign, An inquisitive Barack Obama splashed in a Warholesque red, white and blue and underlined with the caption HOPE. What’s the problem you ask? Well, this image was originally photographed by Manny Garcia on assignment for the AP at the National Press Club in Washington. After Fairey’s successful profits from poster sales, the AP says it owns the copyright, and wants credit and compensation. Smh it's all Fun and games till someone makes a couple dollars.
