Christian Dior Internship

-responsible for working with the New York Boutique Management team to support the sales staff. Projects include, but are not limited to:
-Customer service and customer management,Assisting sales associates with styling
-Assisting Operations Manager with stock management and cycle counts
-Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
Requirements:
-Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, and all other office equipment
-Fluency in one or more foreign languages a plus; computer literacy a must.

Random Clip: Greedy Boy by Kim Young Ha
The animation in this video is amazing. I wasn't expecting the end to be so gory but the story being told is good.

Pre-Fall 2010: Chanel
I had mixed feelings about this collection. I liked how the strong influences of Karl and 1920s-30s China where incorporated together and still looked like Chanel. It's the kind of collection that i can say i wasn't in love with but was definitely intrigued by it.
Before the show they showed these 2 clips that were directed by Karl Lagerfeld. In it they show how Coco Chanel always dreamed of going to Shanghai and picking up influence from the cultured city but never got to do it.

"Small World" is known as the leading forum for showcasing the beauty and complexity of life as seen through the light microscope.
FAQS: The Nikon International Small World Competition first began in 1974. It was a way to recognize those involved with photography through the light microscope. Since then, Small World has become a leading showcase for photomicrographers from the widest array of scientific disciplines.
FAQS:(A photomicrograph is a technical document that can be of great significance to science or industry. But a good photomicrograph is also an image whose structure, color, composition and content is an object of beauty, open to several levels of comprehension and appreciation.)

•Compiling monthly fashion research reports and bi-annual trend reports
Media Manager
Duties include:
• Compile monthly editorial reports, Assist the PR team with special projects and press for events.
• Manage all U.S. press clipping for Versace, Keeping an up to date and accurate master contact list for the press office.
• Daily management of Versace publication credits, Compiling daily press clippings for the VP, PR Director and the company by 10am.
Assistant to the VP of communications and Public Relations Director
Duties include:
• Managing and trafficking all invoices for the department, Compiling corporate expense reports for the VP and PR Director.
• Ordering and keeping track of office supply inventory, Keeping track of all packages that are sent and received by the department.
• Assisting the VP with all special projects and sitting in/taking notes on key strategy meetings, Assisting the PR Director with all initiatives and activities related to VIP/Celebrity dressing
